Recently, many manufacturers asked us for help, saying that the density board was deformed and swelled due to moisture. Because these problems are also common problems in the storage of MDF, so I will talk about them here for your reference.
First of all, because the density board is made of wood fiber, its special material determines that it cannot touch the water (except for the waterproof process), so the place where the density board is stored must be protected from rain and water. Usually dry, otherwise once soaked in water, the board will be scrapped, we can only see if the manufacturer can recycle it.
Then when we are stacking the boards, for easy access, we will put two sleepers at the bottom to facilitate the forklift to get them out. However, because the conventional board is generally 1220*2440mm, and has considerable flexibility, too much accumulation of boards or long-term accumulation will cause wavy deformation of the MDF.
How to solve it? Put the density board on a flat place, don't put sleepers under it, it will be fine after a while, it's very simple.
